Yeah, Ian, it's depressing as hell. I have a cousin over there working as a Pastor. He's having to travel back and forth between Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The whole damn thing is sickening.
I was one of those douche bags that initially bought the hype as Powell gave that infamous speech to the UN. That'll teach me to trust a black man. Do I have to put a smiley face to show that that's a joke?
Yeah. No end in sight, and while I'd love to believe that Obama and Hilary could get us the fuck out of Dodge, it sometimes feels as if it's such a cluster fuck over there that there won't be an end in sight anytime soon, no matter who is running things.
